With the waste industry continuing to evolve at pace, we are seeing an ever-greater demand for more detailed waste data, faster turnaround of information and improved accuracies relating to service fulfilment. Supplying this data in a timely manner is one of Reconomy’s strongest differentiators and remains an essential part of the waste management strategy that we deliver to our clients.

The Reconomy ePod (electronic proof of delivery) Smartphone App has been created specifically for use by our network of supply chain partners, making it easier for you to manage waste data.

The app removes the hassle of collating and suppling tonnages, waste transfer notes, driver ETAs and more, by making all this information immediately available as each job is progressed.
All data is recorded on the app by your fleet of vehicle drivers and then automatically uploaded to the Reconomy Portal – our industry-leading reporting platform – giving both Reconomy and our clients immediate access and full visibility.

Thanks to Reconomy’s ePod App, the status of each job is visible for all to see, minimising requests for information from both Reconomy and the end client. It also removes the need to double-up on data entry, saving you precious admin time. The many benefits of using the app include:

Upload new jobs and orders
Reduce administration and the need for ‘over the phone’ contact between your office staff and drivers by uploading jobs and orders directly to the app. Each job can then be individually accepted by the driver and scheduled into their workload.

Driver update
The Reconomy ePod App enables drivers to provide updates on individual jobs as and when their status changes, which can be viewed by both your office staff and Reconomy in real-time.

Route planning
The app will enable each of your drivers to prioritise route planning for their next delivery or collection. This not only saves time, it also minimises the carbon footprint and fuel costs of your fleet.

Flagging on-site challenges
The app allows drivers to add specific details and photos relating to individual jobs, helping to streamline future collections and deliveries. Reconomy can then follow-up any flagged issues with the client, such as access problems or obstructions.

ETAs
The app allows drivers to manually enter their estimated arrival times for each job, which can be seen by the client, allowing them to plan for your vehicle’s arrival and giving them peace of mind.

Immediate data capture
All tonnages are directly inputted into the app at the point of weighing, giving Reconomy’s clients immediate access to critically sought-after data via the Reconomy Portal. This is supplied together with confirmation signatures from both the driver and weighbridge operator.

Automatic waste transfer notes
The app will automatically generate electronic waste transfer notes once weighbridge data has been uploaded. This removes any need for hard copies, reducing administration and any risk of them being accidentally misplaced in transit.

Waste containers
The ePod App can be utilised on jobs relating to all types of skip and roll-on, roll-off container (RoRo) deliveries and collections, including new orders, exchanges and off-hires.
